15.06.09 - iPhone Cupcakes
I haven't mentioned this on the site before but we actually have the ability to print images onto cupcakes. I did cupcakes recently for Damien Mulley where he was looking to add iPhone icon images to cupcakes. Some were printed as they were quite detailed images and some were manually done in 3D. It's great to have edible images on cupcakes if you're looking to add photos or logos!
21.05.09 - The Suki Fashion Charity Tea Party Update
We donated over 200 cupcakes in the end to the Suki Fashion Tea Party last night which was at The Westbury Hotel. All proceeds from this event went towards the new A+E department being built at Crumlin's hospital. I received a lovely note of thanks from one of the organisers Orla Bass today. I don't normally share notes of thanks but Orla has given her kind blessing and we are really just so proud to have been a part of such a worthwhile event:
"I just wanted to say a big thanks to all at Dublin cupcakes for your very kind and generous sponsorship last night at the tea party. Your

08.05.09 - Temple Street Hospital Charity Cupcakes
The Temple Street Children's Hospital are running a fundraiser called "The Great Irish Bake" where you can raise much needed money for the hospital by selling desserts, whether to friends or colleagues etc. I think this is a great idea. If anyone is selling desserts to the public for this cause, let me know and I'll post up details on our site. Register to make a difference here - http://www.thegreatirishbake.ie/register.html
30.04.09 - Crumlin Children's Hospital Charity Cupcakes
We're donating cupcakes Wednesday 20th May to the Suki Fashion Tea Party at The Westbury Hotel, off Grafton Street. Tickets are 20 euros at the door and all proceeds go to the Crumlin Children's Hospital. To read more on this event check out Independent.ie's Independent Woman. Xposé will also be there to cover the event so hope to see you there!
We are also donating cupcakes this Saturday to the Perfect Touch Salon on Gray Street, just off Meath Street in Dublin 8, who are raising money for the Marie Keating foundation where all Wash and Blow Dry profits will be donated.
14.04.09 - Wedding Cupcake Images
Due to popular demand for more wedding cupcake images, I have uploaded some more images on our site www.weddingcupcakes.ie - a site for Irish cupcake wedding cakes
07.04.09 - Irish Brides Magazine
18.11.08 - New Baby / Get Well Cupcakes
I get a lot of orders for New Baby and Get Well cupcakes to be sent to hospitals. Apart from cupcakes being something different to all the flowers and teddies that are normally received, I see on St. Vincent's website that they specifically state that they do not wish flowers to be brought into the hospital. Follow this link for this and more on St Vincents Patient and Visitor Information.
Barack Obama U.S. Presidential cupcakes:
I have to admit - Barack is very charismatic: Barack Obama's Virginia Speech night before the election.
Our cupcakes made their appearance, as did we ;-), at the Web Awards this year which was organised by one of of Ireland's top bloggers and the social media consultant Damien Mulley. I was impressed by the event - fun and funky, in the Radisson hotel behind Dublin Castle. And if you are as appreciative as I am of custom made items, you should check out www.madeinhollywood.ie for custom made designs in foam. They have to be the ultimate in decorations! You can check out what he did for the Web Awards here - designs in foam
Also I see Damien is running a very interesting SEO competition for the keywords Geansai Gorm!

10.08.08Special Delivery to Today FM!
Last week I was on Today FM radio with Alison Curtis and Ed, which was very exciting as I've never been on the radio before. It's always great to see people excited about the cupcakes. And Alison and Ed were very excited. They had been talking about cupcakes the night before and were asking where they could find good cupcakes in Dublin. I was contacted the following day and made the delivery that night. I made a dozen mixture, some with vanilla buttercream swirls and sweets toppings (love hearts and dolly mixtures), some with white melted chocolate and different chocolate sprinkles and shavings and of course two with their names on a brown buttercream topping. Yum! Yum!
I'm so pleased that they were pleased with their cupcakes and can honestly say that they are two genuinely lovely people, just as lovely off the radio as they are on. And definitely check out Alison and Ed's show which is on between 10 and midnight Monday to Thursday on Today FM.
The lovely Alison and Ed, complete with cupcakes, which were also made in Today FM colour cupcake cases...
